Flipped rims?????

Can you flip the rims of an 05 blasty, i heard that o3 and up rubbed the valve stems off?

u do need to get new short stems to flip 03 and up

unfortunatly yes the tires will have to come off.....unless someone knows a better way

You shouldn't have to dis mount the tire all the way, just break the bead and you should be able to get the new stem in place.

or if u buy the short stems from a tire place they might put em on for free

or you can try angled ones. ALso someone had a good idea, bascially remove the old vavle stem and put one in backwards to plug the hole. Then drill a hole on the outside of the rim and install a vavle stem in the correct way. That way you don't have to worry about it hitting on the inside, and it gets the stem on the outside of the tire. If you take it to a tire place they'll probably charge you a couple bucks for the stems and put them in for free cause all they would have to do is break the bead.

these are the stems i use, they sit flush with the rim, it just shows the filler tube in the pics, here's the actual stem

Yep, got those Gorillas on my 04. Work great. My local tire store charged me $20 for the stem kit (comes with 4 valves and 1 filler) and put them in for free.

i wanted to flip the tires on my banshee. it would look so sick, but then when i turn they would hit the nerf bars
