Maybe this is silly but maybe it will help someone.
When we pulled our Blaster from a 2 yr storage we put fresh fuel in and it started and ran kinda OK.
After a couple minutes ride time we changed oil. When we started it up again it didn't want to come off idle. Any throttle position would stall it except letting the throttle alone and sitting at idle.
We pulled the carb, cleaned it (twice), cleaned the air cleaner and no change. We started it without the air cleaner and no change.
After many inspections and head scratching we simply couldn't figure it out. As a last ditch effort we installed a new plug......VIOLA!! Runs like a champ. We were both suprised. So if you are having issues maybe try a fresh plug. Apparently ours had only enough snot to ignite but no more than that.
Happy riding!
