So I just got a 96 blaster. Completely stock. I've owned dirtbikes in the past so I know handlebars and exhaust are pretty standard options. I already have my suspension list coming so my question is strictly engine. For the research I've done I know that when I put a big bore that CT is reliable and good choice to go with. Also, I know that ken is the man to go to to rechamber my head and port. Curious on what you guys think of between going 240 or 265? I'll be riding dunes and trails and that's all. My question is do I have to bore my block to fit the 240 or 265? Also, what all should I have ken do when I send my block to him? I know that I'll need to rejet after all this work and get a bigger carb and rejet it and maybe a uni as we'll. any other information is appreciated. Thank you for reading!

I don't know ken personally but from what every 1 here says he would be very patient and I asked him for a quote once and he was prompt and very informative

Will ken be annoyed sense I don't know a ton about blasters?

I'll bet out the 50 plus rebuilds and port jobs he does a year, I'm sure he has dealt with this more than he cares to count. Even though you don't know much now, he will point you in the right direction considering the information you give or what he asks from you.

Yeah that's true. He probably is used to people calling just willing to write a check that don't know much

He actually saved a lot of people money. You'll get a lot of good reviews about him here, there's no doubt about it. Watch some of his YouTube videos. They are there to help and save you money as he states in some of his videos.
