F7 vs Trinity?

When I put my F7 on I couldn't fish it in with the head pipe adapter on the pipe, then once I got it in, I couldn't install it onto the headpipe adapter with the adapter mounted on the cylinder. I had to put it into the frame without the head pipe adapter on and then slide the adapter on and install the spring before screwing the adapter to the cylinder. Also, I had to take the pipe hanger off the frame in order to get the pipe to fit and the reinstall the hanger...

the only way i could get my trinity on was to put the manifold on the headpipe first then fish it on there. pain in the ass to figure out though.

I had to do the same thing on both of my CT pipes, and if i used the stock pipe hanger on the pipe i have now it will rub the cylinder head so i had to custom fab a aluminum pipe hanger... I forgot all about my custom pipe hanger, Im going to have to get some pics and post them in Custom Fabbing..lol hahaha

I modded my stock hanger. i broke one half off of the rubber piece then drilled a hole through both for a bolt. then turned the piece i pulled off upside down. works like a charm and free. mine goes on different every time i take it apart

here is the biggest hole in my pipe for you guys that didn't see it.

What is wrong with us????? Our f7, trinity, and ct pipes have leaky welds and dont fit good but when someone ask's use, what is the best blaster pipe, we tell them that the f7, trinity, and ct pipes are the best..lol

Not this guy anymore. I am pisssed at myself for sellin my toomey. I wish I had, had the extra loot for the cpi pipe

Was the cpi pipe the pipe that 1bad442 had???? If it is than i liked it!!! I may have to get one or put my old Cobra pipe back on my blaster, it fit better and had no leaky welds...lol

I'm not runnin a bbk so I needed a stock cylinder pipe. surfr let me pay payments is why i bought this one. but cpi makes great quality pipes. a lot like toomey quality

I have an F7 and I liked to tore my hair out putting that SOB on my quad.... Care to comment? Have any thoughts on how poorly the F7 fits onto the quad?

My power pro's/F7/CT welds are fine. 79, you must have the WORST luck possible with the CT Racing quality control.

If you purchased the pipe from us, it came with an installation instruction sheet. The problem that some people have is that they do not read or understand the instructions. If followed correctly, the instructions will get that pipe on the bike in minutes.

We did a study on this. It took 22 pipes sold before 1 person called and asked what they were doing wrong when installing their pipe. After walking them thru the install, it wasn't a thing wrong with the pipe, just the installer. Were you one of these guys?

I have sold hundreds of these pipes and I have yet to have someone call me and say that they had bad welds. I have no clue what bargain bin that your pipes came from but this is news to me.

I got the pipe second hand so no installation instructions. But you know, my procircuit pipe didn't come with instructions either and it took me 30 seconds to install it not 30 minutes.

I AM the type of person who will go looking on the manufacturers website looking for installation instructions if I encounter trouble... Do you happen to have those instructions posted? If you do, they're not easy to find....

We have sold hundreds of these pipes and have never heard of any of these having hole issues. I don't know what bargain bin that these pipes come from but I have never seen this happen.

By looking at the holes in the pipe i had, i think the welder was running out of argon and or co2....

wth? i have had zero issues with my trinity. took not even 5 mins to install, doesn't leak at all either. i must be the only person here with good results the first time.

That pipe I got from you, took me about a half an hour to figure out how to get it in the frame and on the engine. First I tried installing the flange on the head and couldn't get the pipe onto the flange with it bolted on to the cylinder. So then I took the flange off the cylinder and put it and a spring on the pipe and tried to put it through the side of the frame and the adapter hit the frame and wouldn't let the pipe in. I finally figured out to stick the pipe into the frame and get it NEARLY in position before putting the adapter onto the pipe and installing the spring (all while holding the headpipe inside the frame) and then putting the adapter up to the cylinder and installing the hardware.

Like I said, it was a hair pulling experience.

lol, sounds like it was fun.

all i had to do was bolt the flange to the jug, then figure which way it had to go in the frame. really the only thing i had to do was force it down a bit to go into the flange.

This one would NOT push into the flange. It hit the head (at the stinger end) and the frame (at the "bulge" on top) and missed going into the flange by about half the flange width!

It was a PITA. Don't get me wrong, it runs like DAMNIT now that it's on but it was terrible to install.
