I saw on a web site called blaster zone that they had one of their project quads swing arms set out to cascaed innovations for an extension. anyone every deal with these guy and know how well they hold up? it was only 150 bucks so if its good construction i'd say do it! let me know if any of you have heard or delt with them

i tried to order a swing arm from Welcome To The BlasterZone and they said they would be out for the next month at least. they rely on people buying a swing arm from them, and they sending their old one back to them. they say you will get $50.00 back if you send you stock swing arm back to them. give it a shot and try to order from them, but when i tried they were out.

ok....i try them too...i was really asking about cascade innovations....it looked to me like blasterzone sent theirs out to that company to have it done. so has anyone dealt with cascade? i do know they make sweet stator and oil covers too!

search around their site. they dont have much for blasters. and unless im blind i dont see that they make a blaster swingarm. i think i even called them one time and they said they only do them form banshees. im not sure.their stuff looks nice thou.

there are, but it will run you about $250.00, just because of the time it will take to make it square. i know that 01blasterdude made one for himself, and fowlrock. hes a great fabricator. contact him about making you one. here is a link to his build. http://www.blasterforum.com/pics-vids-9/01-blaster-rebuild-project-4964/ but buying one from a place like the swingarm shop will be easy, you will have your arm in about 3 days, and it is covered under a waranty. sending yours to someone, you will have to pay shipping both ways, and that will add up.

ya that is quite a bit of money. i got mine for $244 shipped from ebay "the swingarm shop" there are other places that sell them, but they are more. mine has held up great.

glad to hear that, i was thinking my next purchase for the blaster may be their +4 swingarm they had em for like $200 shipped the other day

Meh. I was just thinking I could sell them. I can stretch them to any length anyone would want. And make 'em stronger (and prettier). I was just trying to test the waters; to see what other shops offer. I bet I could turn them around pretty quickly. I'd have to see about two-way shipping costs, but I could figure that in.
Expect some example photos in the next couple of weeks or so...

im looking into buying one from the swingarm shop also. when i do, do i need to buy a longer rear shock ? or is the shock mount still in the same location . is it extended before or after the shock mount ? i dont wanna get the swingarm and have my quad sitting low in the back with my z400 rear shock i have.

ok if you read the discription on the swingarm shops ebay page it state that the shok location is stock. they dont extend the stock swingers. they made a jig, cut all new peices, and weld them together. its a brand new swingarm. so to anwser your question your z400 rear shock will be fine on your blaster. there are tons and tons of blaster on this forum with the swingarm shop swinger and az400, or 400ex rear shock.

well thanx....but no need to get hasty, i haVE read through all of the post in these forums at one time or another and have yet to see a post about the swingarm shops location of the rear shock mount....have you? and further more i dont care if they make a new jig or not cause that has nothing to do with the fact that they can weld a shock mount any where on the arm that they want to. how was i to know if they weld it the same distance from the fromt of the arm or not? front side of the mount or back, somewhere they are adding lenghth, and that was my question. but now i know !!!!!!!! lol

do you know if they also sell a extended chain/ brake cable/line kit? or does the stock stuff still work with the +4 swingarm?

no it doesnt work, get a hydro brake line fron the autopart store, i guess from what people tell me i would have to unhook the ebrake cable as well...i believe youll have to get a 152 long chain also ...or something like that

if you have an older blaster 02-down blaster you need to find the +4 extended brake line by Motion Pro. It will get rid of your stock cable and e-brake

eBay Motors: NEW YAMAHA BLASTER REAR BRAKE CABLE KIT EXTENDED S ARM (item 260277269723 end time Aug-27-08 04:40:16 PDT)

if you have a 03-up you need longer hydro break lines.

next the chain you will want to get is a 120 link 520 roller. up to you if you get a 0-ring, x-ring, or non o-ring. hope this helps
