exhaust to grow into, would like some opinions

i have been running an fmf and it does really well i think but then again i havent used anything else. flotek is a little slow on replies but he has my topend now so im thinking he's just buisy working on it:) i will probobly be getting another exhaust sometime soon but only because the fmf isnt really for a heavilly moded motor. i am tempted to keep it but i think the topend is where i want it to scareeaaam! hey noob wanna race? lol hopefully ill be able to make it to busco during the next meet.

If you are going to mod your blaster use Dynoport, LRD or toomey. in my opinion those pipes are the best. Factory 7 is one of the best too for modded blasters.

it makes me lol that when i was searching for a pipe when i started my build, all i read was about go with a right bend and stay away from fmf and dg stands for dont get... now KGibson's badass son wins a race with an fmf, and its one of the most talked about pipes on here. i've never ridden an fmf so i dont know how good or bad they are, it just cracks me up.

Good call.... I particulary like my fmf and think its great.. I wouldnt justify buying a $300 pipe just to find a moderate if any gain. i would put the money elsewhere like suspension, a arms, etc. but then again im sure 10 other members will chime in and say im stupid for saying this.. oh well, i only run through 3 sets of tires on my blasty since i had it so im a newbie i guess.

it just depends on your motor, when my motor was pretty much stock i liked the fmf. and i still feel kgibsons son won his race because of his skillz not what pipe he was running. I:I

thats what gets me. it seems like his son could win races no matter what pipe he has on that quad. i have a stock internal motor as of right now, but i went with the f7 and i love it. i also agree with matt75. try to find a good used pipe for cheap, and then spend money elsewhere. i noticed more of a gain in the front suspension than a pipe could have ever done

i thought fmf wasnt a good pipe until i got one everyone said they were terable blah blah blah i got mine for realy cheap in good condition and i gota say i love it I:I its the lowend power it gave me that i like

people love repeating what they hear...people love repeating what they hear.. o i just read what i wrote. i say get whatever pipe u find a deal on.

i have rode all the big brands on my 2strokes(including blasters), fmf and pro circuit are the best bet for mx if your running the stock displacement. they give you that added grunt which helps you keep up with the 4strokes out of turns n all that good stuff.... just my 2cents

fmf's are good for a mildly ported stock bore..... thats about it..... mine did me good but I felt it fell off too soon, it still wanted to scream, but the pipe just didn't have the over rev needed for aggressive riding. Great for crawling over rocks and ruts though....

Thanks buuuuut...my son is good but not good enough to win on skill alone. He needs the motor and the fmf with our set up and racing mx it is the best we have used, which is 4 other ones. Hang on tho because Mr OConnor and I are working on a new setup with yet another pipe.....all in the quest for power!!!
