im looking to upgrade my stock exhaust off my 04 blaster. mostly just trail ride not fast, so looking for low end power and a nice sound. not looking to spend a ton, any ideas???

Welcome to the Site , Great Place Here !

Well I Would say Try and Find a Used DG , Dmc Alien , And Also A Reed Spacer in Front of the reed cage Will give better low end Pull !

But Read up On Jetting , Leak down Testers , and Also Plug Chops to Confirm Proper Jetting !

My choice for overall low/mid range power would be a DMC Alien exhaust and silencer.

Coupled up with dual stage reeds and a spacer block between the reeds and jug, to move the power down the range.

A+4 timing advance will also bring the power on at a lower rev.

A Bruce said , do some reading on jetting, leak testing and plug chops, if you own a 2 stroke it is advisable to be familiar with them.

I have heard a lot of great sounding pipes but the DMC is the sweetest music to my ears.

i got vforce 3 reeds and cage, just waiting to get exhaust before i put them in. one of my buddys told me to go up 2 jet sizes on the main jet with a pipe and scilener. sound rite??

Depends on what pipe you get, airbox lid on or off, stock carb?

Example Toomey says with everthing else stock a 310 main is required so that is more than two sizes up.

Alot of guys who run different FMF pipes/DMC are in the 260-280 range, that is still more than two sizes up from stock 230.

stock carb, with airbox lid on. its a fmf fatty gold series pipe and i believe a power core 2 silencer.

Usually there is no need to rejet with just a silencer, but sometimes they make the stock pipe breathe a little better, only a plug chop can confirm the correct jetting.
