Exhaust leak

i have a fmf gold series pipe on my blaster but it is leaking oil where it slips over the flange that comes out of the head. I want to seal it with some high temp RVT but first i want to know if oil is supposed to come out of the head.

I think what leaks out is just an unburnt mixture of fuel/oil, mine did the same thing and it made such a mess on the frame. I just sealed it up this year with some high temp silicone and now it doesn't leak at all.
