Exhaust heat shield

How many of you have heat shields for your exhaust? I was thinking about getting one but i wanted to know if it was worth the money

Stock ones on my banshee work well. I dont see why they wouldnt be worth the cash. Especially if you dont have riding pants/boots...

I had the stock heat shield (OEM) but then I got that used FMF pipe and I don't have the guard. I want to find one for the FMF, too.

I dont know if they make them... try ebay. If not im sure someone could fabricate one.

Only time ive had problems with exhaust was on my warrior i had the bright idea to wear nylon parachute pants... and well i ended up with huge holes.

Havnt had a problem on the blaster, but have you considered just heat-wrapping it? Works wonders for cars. Drops under hood temps drastically so im sure it would protect your legs, and the exhaust. Could even give you some power
