ok so i bought a blaster last week and started a top end rebuild and i noticed there was engine oil in the block not were the clutch n stuff is but were the crankshaft is.. is there susposed to be oil in there or should i drain it out and hope it didnt mess anything up
 
the guy had a open bottle of 10/30 motor oil for a car sitting next to it i cant remember exacty what he said but he said that he coated the jug walls so they wouldnt rust i think the dumb a$! put it in the crank fml if he did

so what?? i filled my crank case with oil and flushed it a bunch of times wehn i first got mine and it was absolutly fine, it will just smoke a bunch till it gets burnt off.
 
The crank case oil is connected to the clutch with very little passage ways but only a little is supposed to be in there. Plus you have to coat the jug walls with assembly oil so your new rings wont scrape the plateing or whatever you have off the walls otherwise your gonna burn up a motor A good friend of mine from rebuilt his and it only lasted for like 4 hrs tops cause of this andI dont thing ke broke it in right but I hope you see my point.....
