Engine Problems

i was just at my quad and its a electrical problem, i can kick the bike over fast with the plug out and the is plenty of spark, when i kick it over about the same speed as it would with the plug in, there is a really weak spark, i think it might be the stator, befor it went like that i was riding it and the lights would dim and brighten up again

under the left side cover. pull the flywheel (you'll need some tools) and check the little D shaped notch that holds the flywheel in place.
but before you go and do that try twisting the 2 tors wires from your throttle together. the later model blasters need the loop to be closed to run.

i'm having the same exact problem with my Blaster, can't figure it out. Almost new motor, went back to stock jets, brand new stator w/ adjustable plate. cleaned carb about 4 times and rebuild carb even messed with air/fuel screw. kick it over a few times pull out the plug at it's soaked everytime.

well i just got my blaster to start and it was runnin good until i went to the end of my drive way and it shut off, so i pushed it back to my garage and check the fire and the is no spark at all now, i havent tryed another plug yet that might be the problem

i found out the problem, i replaced the plug cap and put in an iridium plug, and it works find i think it was the resistor gone in the plug cap. thank you every one that helped. :)

when you say plug cap ,are you talking about the metal on top of the plug that the wire plugs onto ,OR are you talking about the actual plug wire end???
