my blaster in 6th gear bogs out when i hold it down to the bars, even if i ease it to it. i have a k&n air filter and an after market exhaust, why would it be doing that please help

Does your bike still have TORS installed on it? TORS could be sticking and doing that.
Another thought is youre main jet is too rich or too lean.
You should probably list all applicable mods, and what kind of carb and jetting you run.

it just has the aftermarket exhaust, k&n air filter and boysen reeds, and im running a 250 main jet thats what i was told to run by my local yamaha dealer, and i have absolutely no idea what a tors is
TORS is "throttle override system" its designed to save you if it detects your throttle as stuck open.
I also believe its supposed to make your engine not rev or work properly if your parking brake is on.

haha lol i have a dg pipe but i am ordering a f7 tomorrow, what should my main jet be at with the f7?
Im not sure with the F7. But I no my toomey calls for a 310 with just the pipe. So I would figure around there....

what color is your plug? grey your lean, black and wet your rich. brown your good. pull the plug and take a picture for us to see.

yea i put in a new plug, now im having a debate again cuz if i get the toomey exhaust it comes with the jet, i know they dont cost really anything but i have to drive far to get them
