Hello,
I have a 2000 blaster that seized up a couple years back. Im looking to get its engine rebuilt. It has a Toomey pipe on it and I believe it is jetted unsure the size. Anyone know how much it would cost to rebuild or anyone know a good builder in southern CA preferably in San Diego.

It will be road in Glamis and in Pismo just dunes not really ever trails.

Shop around. I personally do my own work, because its tough to find a local shop that is worth the crap. Most of them are slow, or just don't know two stroke engines, let alone care about them.

There is this guy here and he knows blasters and everything else really well. The prices are very fair and the turn around is fast. However he's not in San Diego. Shipping your parts off is easy, or the entire engine. Give him a call... \/ \/ \/

I will look into that. Thank you for the information. Yeah I can do moderate basic work, but a total rebuild is not quite my level yet.
