my 1990 blaster 200cc seems to bog out and wont idel. i use 32:1 ratio. i just bought a new plug, flywheel, and carb. it takes a couple of kicks to get started and has to be choked. once its started i rev it up but it will never idel. if i stop reving it up it will bog out and die. i keep it reved up and put in first and try and take off, sometimes ill get a couple feet and it will jsut die and other times i can get goin but it will jsut bog out and die on me... any suggestions on whats wrong and what i can do??

It has good compression and fairly new reeds in it... I need to go thru the carb for him and make sure his float bowl and needles are all set right.... I just got it running for now and it needs alot of work its all stock.... Has the oil injection removed and has a new carb with the Tors Elimator on it..... But to the people that only know what there talkin about needs to post on here not tryin to be a dick.... But only experienced people with this problem before is what we are looking for... Thanks Guys

LOL! what a pecker

How filthy is the air filter?? If it's not totally clogged, do you know the last time someone jetted the carb?? Was it in the winter? It could be getting too much fuel....or maybe the tank is almost empty? Sounds like it could be either one of those things!!

I had my blaster setup for the winter when it was like maybe 30 degrees on a good day. Running a 270 jet ti ran well. Well I hadn't run it for a month or so and now it's getting warm and unless I kept the thing wide open it would not want to make much power and if I idled it for long it would want to die out. I went to a smaller jet size and it's got it's power back and it can idle and not die out. It could be just the jetting....

the air filter isnt dirty at all really. and it has a full tank of gas and ot sure about the jetting ill take a look at the

i would check your reeds really well...i had a small crack in one of the pedals and it did the same thing....it would bog and not run for sh*t...even if u have check them do it again and go through the carb really good...u could have a particle of dirt in the jetting that could be contributing to your problem...also check all the clamps around the carb make sure they are tight and there isnt any cracks in the rubber boots....theres all kinds of crap to check...just go over everything and take a pic and post it if your not sure...someone on here can probably help...

had the same problem once and found a piece of dirt stuck on my float needle. cleaned the carb and float needle and problem went away. just thought i'd mention it because the first time i cleaned the carb i missed it, but when i took it apart the second time i caught the problem. hope this helps

I have been waiting for him to bring it over so I can clean the carb... But we work different shifts so its hard to do dat.... Ya that helps to see what problems ppl have had before thanks...
