My blaster runs good but the key wont kill the bike. I have to use the kill switch to turn it off and none of my lights work. Any idea how to fix this or where to start? Im new to this bike, any help is appreciated.

check these diagrams out and start testing things, if it will start with the key in the off position it is proly the ignition switch http://www.blasterforum.com/engine-13/stock-wiring-diagrams-51842/

Sounds Like the 2 Wires coming from the key switch One is Solid Black , One is black with white stripe , Is possibly unhooked .

no, the lights and ignition are 2 seperate circuts.
pull the hood to look for disconnected wires first.
you can test the switch function with a continuity tester, and voltage at the light socket/wires before trying a new bulb
Just remember to always check the obvious simple things first, could save you hours I:I
