Hey i have a 1990 Blaster that keeps blowing thru ignition coils.Im about to replace my 3rd ignition coil this month.Any clue why this is happining? and is it my cdi unit that is causing my ignition coils to blow because i am getting good power readings coming from the cdi. Also i am rebuilding my magnetto as of right now with a rebuild kit, if that had to do with anything. Please any help would be good!!!

are the grounds clean/good
and plug boot tight to the plug ???
loose connections cause higher amperages and heat, killing electrical components

There is no voltage reg in the ignition circuit.
Bad grounds, dirty connections can cause excessive current draw!

lol. now those 2 words i can understand
i would check the volts that are comming out of the startor, then checl all the grounds. and if its still fed up, maybe the stator got ripped appart.
