Electrical Problem

Hello,

I just got a new to me 2000 Blaster and started going over it. It is somewhat of a project. It runs great, but I have no electrical power to the lights etc. Does anyone have any troubleshooting suggestions? I do not have a service manual but do have a owners manual. Unfortunately the owners manual has absolutely no information on the electrical system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well if it runs, then your stator is still good. i would recoment you trace the wires from your healight, or taillight, and make sure they are good still.

Thanx for your reply. That is something that I was planning on doing tommorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone had any troubleshooting ideas to get me started. If not, then I will start chasing wires tommorrow.

i had the same problem and i just took it off lol but i had a buncha white stuff along with water all around where my fly wheele is and i dono if that has anything to do with it i havent took the flywheel off yet to see if its on the timing plate thing but i think its crosion not fer sure check and see if u got it if so might have the same problem
