does this do anything power wise and for the money?

Pretty much just a stock replacement part. I really dislike most of the aftermarket CDI boxes, I recommend oem parts if one needs replaced. The Dyna products however are very good, but for the money you'll see a lot more results from a pipe and some good portwork. I recommend an adjustable timing plate instead of an ignition system.
True, but the pipe has much greater effect on the amount of rpms an engine can achieve. However, the exhaust port should be raised to match the pipe. And then the transfer ports need to be raised as well to correct the blowdown timing that has been altered by raising the exhaust port.
okay that was the cdi part of the thread but wats the deal on this "power now" thing all it looks like is a metal made into a circle with a lil vent thingy in it for 100 bucks i think i could make some stuff like that lol and it reminds me of this thing my bro had for my dads oldsmobile cutlas called a tornado and it goes in the hose that goes to the air filter and creates more air

I've got the box and the coil that goes with it, I don't know if it's any thing really special?, but it along with my "Ricky stator" mag I have absolutely 0 issues with my ignition system!!!
It does make a little diffrence in the bottom end throttle respond, but I dont know if it makes a diffrence worth $100
