i have been thinking lately after talking to some friends how silly this whole concept on the forum is. If u asked me a year ago if i would see myself on a forum for hours a day i would have laughed in your face. If you asked me if i was actually gunna develop what u could call a friendship with people on the forum, i would be checking u into a looney bin, my parents are warming up to the idea but still find it weird that i wanna drive to PA for a ride lol.

i agree... it is kinda geeky but i dont really care. most of the people on here have the same intrests as me with ridn and 2 stroke bikes, helping others to get there bikes running right and maintained. most of us on here have a great attitude and just wanna have some fun ridn the bike they have put there blood sweat and tears into (and numerous paychecks). i cant wait to meet up and do some serious trail thrashin!

i have met several people on other forums from around my area, showed up at a mud ride and got to talking to a dude about boats and found out he only lives about 10 minutes from me and now were pretty good friends.

but, there is nobody else around here with a 2 stroke quad at all,
and just 14 yr. old scooter(on here) with a sport quad to ride with

and if you'd have told me a guy from Massachusetts (dualstroke) was gonna offer to pick me up and haul me to busco, then we become good freinds, go to busco and meet all these great peeps (305's, holeshot's, freek, batt, noobs, nick, tater, con8quest and the list goes on and on including the bro's from e2s)
i'd have asked you if you were smokin crack !!!!!

and weekly texts with freek and dakotademon < which i almost got in trouble with his wife for sendin T&A pics, aaaahahahahahaaaaaa

then along comes ken oconnor, and i give his motor work a try (i believe i was the first on here) and luv'd it and talkin to him so much that we've become great freinds, then he comes down here to ride and refered to it as "awks wild ride" on here, and that started a whole other series of events including me going to conneticut to stay and ride at his house, plus get to fry his wifes piston and learn how to bore it !!!!! now i talk to ken weekly, i think he's my long lost brother.

also the new series of awks wild rides, which "II" turned out great, meeting a whole other set of great dudes (bronco,techblaster, sasse,muddman and the freek/noobs crew again)
cant wait for awks wild ride III coming this spring, and of course more trips to kens, and busco again

this is definately one unbelievable crazy ride !!!!!!!!!!

i know this isnt really what the thread is about, but if i can find a truck that i know will make it there and back, and time off work, i will be there for sure. hell if i had dual sport tires for the drz i'd even consider just riding it out, but that wouldnt be fun

I had to write an essay for a Humanities class this year on the internet and how it has changed our social interactions with people. The truth is it is not uncommon for people to meet others online. Its a great way to socialize with people that have like interests that you otherwise would have never met whether they live close to you or not. I met my wife online. Was kinda crazy, we lived within a 1/2 mile of each other and had went to the same high school for a short period of time but had never met before. Some people still think meeting people from the internet is wierd but 10 years from now it will be second nature. I was super stoked when I found this forum. A bunch of friendly and helpful people and I owe my whole mod list to you guys (although the wife isnt as excited about that part...lol).
