I have a 1996 blaster and I have a parts bike tht is an 04. I want to take the heel guards off and put on my 96 but there is no mount for the guards on the frame. R all 96 Blasters this way???

I believe that all 1988-2002 Model Blasters do not have the upper heal guard mount. I know you can buy a piece of hardware at any hardware store that clamps onto the frame, and has a threaded hole that you can use to mount the heel guard with. I forget what it is called, contact Awk08. He's the one I learned this from.

Or you can weld your own mounts onto the frame.

only the 88/89's are missing the mount for the steel floorboard/heelgaurd
the plastic heel gaurds only mount to the steel ones, and the fenders at the top
whatever you have to do, get some type of heelgaurd on there...stock, of rappy/yfz are popular swaps also

I will second that ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

or just not run heel guards

Not a smart idea unless you remove them for nerfs!

I don't have heel guards or nerfs on my blaster and will look to make sure I don't have mounts for the heel guards (metal ones)
