Disconnect wires to oil pump?

I removed the gear, pump and hoses. Is there any wiring I should disconnect?

the only wires are the one for the sensor in the tank....just make sure they are not touching and tape them up

put a plug on the carb and forget about the rest.. ohh and premix..

whatever you do dont cut the wires for it.

How did that happen meaning cutting the wires and now you have no spark. I took the whole system out from the harness and rewrapped the harness.

I cut out my oil sensor, tors, my tailight, and some unnecessary grounds and I still have spark! Its obviously irrelevant to the oil sensor....

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ thats what i was thinking, all the oil sensor does is chance resisitance to allow the oil light to come on.

Exactly! When I had my wiring harness apart, i accidentaly had my TORS computer plugged in...So i cut that out of my harness and it gave me spark! So, it IS somethng else causing him to lose his spark....
