i bought a 200cc blaster today for 400$ but the kickstart wont no down its stuck and its the newest body style not sure on the year but really clean wondering what im gunna need to put in it to fix it if its easy to do myself and what year the quad could be anyone plz help !!!!

The "the newest body style" is 03-06. Check your VIN, the 10th digit tells you the year. The 10th digit will be 3,4,5 or 6. Blaster kicker problems are normally the return spring, they fail to come back up. Expect to be doing a full rebuild. Many times when the Blaster engine locks up, the piston skirt breaks and drops down into the crankcase, where the crank pushes the pieces through the cases. Maybe you'll get lucky and just need a topend but honestly, if I were in your shoes I'd consider myself lucky with anything better than needing the cases repaired/replaced. The good news is that parts are relatively inexpensive and you've come to the right place for info and support to get it back in the dirt in no time.

I hafto agree with dksix, your better off replacing both the top and bottom ends now. It makes more sense doing them at the same time rather then doin just the top end now and finding out your bottom end is shot after you get everything back together. You'll save yourself from having to tear the motor apart twice, and you'll have peace of mind knowing that your whole motor is fresh and ready to go. As for your question, Id still say you got a good deal especially if the body/frame and plastics are in good shape. I got a complete top and bottom end brand new from wiseco for like $315 ( before taxes ). You'll have a nice blaster with a brand new motor for $715, you CAN'T beat that !
