I was riding in the woods today when i snubbed the machine, when i looked down by the carb, fuel was coming out of every hose on the carb. I shut the gas off and waited a few minutes and when i turned it on gas leaked again. So i left it sit for awhile and when i did it again it works now. Did i just flood the wheeler or is it something else?

Check your carb... I've got a stickie in the DIY section on how to go through a carb and check it for leaks. If it has quit leaking by now, you may have just gotten a piece of debris stuck in the needle valve, which has now been flushed out.

ya, take your carb apart, clean it. set the float to the correct position. put a new gasket on the bowl.
then clean your petcock.
then put on a new gas line and put a fuel filter in it.

My floats have been sticking a lot lately and I normally just lightly tap on my carburator bowl a couple of times with a screw driver handle to get them unstuck.

I'm going to try the toothpaste trick Braaaaptor95 posted in his DIY thread to try and clean up my needle seat, and I think I read somewhere that the ethenol in fuels now a days contributes to the "sticky float" condition. Also read that if you can find a needle with a metal, instead of rubber, tip then this will work better with fuel containing ethanol.

Good luck!

ok. thanks guys. Yeah, its weird that it would be sticking. I just had the carb apart the other day to change the jetting for winter and while i was at it, i cleaned the hell out of the carb. I ran it some more this evening and everything was fine.
