hey guys would i have to do any mods if i put a wisco piston in my blaster.or what piston would you guys use. i have a fmf fatty pipe and muffler and it is jetted for the fmf pipe the piston is stock

Good plan to ditch the stock piston...they have gone boom on more than one person here. Run a Wiseco. Nothing else comes close in quality. You won't have to re-jet the engine if you are JUST installing a new piston. However (and this is important if you want more power), since you're gonna have the top end apart anyways, why not send it out to Ken O'Connor or Flotek for some porting?

Either of these pros will wring some more power outta your stock engine, and it will make a noticible difference. Especially if you install a better pipe and larger carb. How much $$ you got? :D Porting isn't that expensive; you can get it all done for a couple hundred $$ and can find a good used carb on ebay for under $ 100.00...

i didnt know that getting the same size piston but a different brand, increases power

It doesn't...not unless you get a high-compression piston, and even then you're not gonna notice enough of a difference to justify the hassle. I was talking about having the top end ported while it was apart for a new piston. Power's in the porting, not a new piston. Didn't mean to confuse anybody! :-/:)

idk if premixing or not if u are, i heard to run more oil for the first couple of tanks then find ur sweet spot. most guys run 32:1 like me. also i would NOT beat it or run it on WOT for atleast 3 tanks. i'd cruise in it. but breaking the motor in is important
