i was on duncan racing internationals site buyin parts and i was thinking about having them do my porting and machine work since they did make my pipe...(they own paul turner). anyone ever have any work done by them? i might talk to them, but i still kinda want to go Flotek...

ya on their site they talk about their racing history, i wanna ask phragle about their credibility in off road racing...they seem to stress about themselves using stock bore instead of BBK's, to tune and make reliable power.

Go with Flotek on this one. You will get much more personalized service and an engine setup for exactly your needs, not some generic stage portjob. I can assure you that the bigger companies out there are only about quantity, not quality. You can't go in and just buy what their racers are running, that kind of detail doesn't go into the average customers build.

ya i agree, i realized that after today i was ordering a cylinder flange for a ptr pipe and i was on hold for 20 minutes. then i had to convince the guy i was speaking to that yamaha did infact make a yfs 200 blaster... then after telling him he was wrong, he talked to me like i was the dumb one... i hung up absolutly speechless...so ya flotek...

I think Denny (Flotek) will treat ya right on this one. I'm just not a fan of some of the bigger companies, you don't always get what you pay for when it comes to portwork. I mean if someones offering you a "port job" for what sounds to be a to good to be true price, run the other way...but just because a company is the most expensive around doesn't always mean they are the best around. It just means that they are over priced haha.
