when i give my blaster a little throttle it cuts out,as in something electrical i think, acts like nothing there then all of a sudden comes back and revs up.any ideas guys?

Is the TORS still connected?

Sometimes an air leak can cause that.

It may pay to do a leak down test.

Slickerthanyou, could help you out with either the sale of, or rent of.

If its' 03+, I have also found problems with the thumb throttle cable being poorly adjusted in relation to the TORS idle setting. I briefly switches off the ignition for the first mm of operation.

tors is gone, its an 88,new crank seals and new reed gasket.sprayed it with carb clean when running and no leaks that i find.stator?tried different cdi, didnt help

I have the same problem with my 01 blaster. I did a complete top and bottom end rebuild ( wiseco prolite piston/top end kit and wiseco crank assembly ), took her out for the break in and within 2 minutes it stalled. It will start and idle but would die as soon as I hit the throttle. The oil injection was removed and I recently removed my TORS hoping to solve the problem but this did not fix it. The only difference now is that if I push the throttle it tries to rev up then wants to die out, if I let go of the throttle before it dies it will now return to an idle. It seems to have good compression, (tho I havnt done a compression/leak down test ) I have new gas, I've cleaned the carb, checked my float, checked my fuel hose and vent tube on the gas cap, and still do not have an answer to my problem. I have soo much time and money invested and its literally killing me that I can't ride my blaster ( I'm like a crackhead phenin for his crack haha. ) You all know how it feels to have your wheeler sitting in the garage yet your unable to ride it, worst feeling ever. If anyone could PLEASE help me out or throw me some advice I'd really really appreciate it GREATLY !
