What's up with a cut head?? What Do I have to do to it for boring out the cylinder and putting a bigger piston?? New to tha 2 strokes n my bikes in the shop, don't wanna leave anything out and waste the money I spent on nothing..

no you don't need to do that with a new bore job. the cut/milled head is to increace compression = more power. or you cut the head for a stroker crank which makes the piston travle further than stock so the head is milled for piston clearance.

The blaster head is a basic cast unit which doesn't fit the piston crown very well.

The head can be modified to center the charge in the middle where the fuel and air charge will be more concentrated and burn better AND the heat can be more effeciently passed into the cooling fins instead of on the top of the piston (and potentially burning the piston)

having the head redesigned is a good way to pick up some power, and just redesigning the squish band, and dome design have a large impact.

you don't necessarily have to raise the compression to get more power out of it
