So the Blaster I bought has a bad top and bottom end. So here is my thoughts on a no too high budget.
Wiseco piston and bore
Porting
V force 4
Cut head
Rebuild stock crank
Lighten flywheel
All machine work will be done by KOR
I already have a Graydon pipe
What's your thots??

Skip the lighten flywheel. Doesn't do enough to even matter.

Add stainless allen bolt set, replace trans & counterbalancer bearings, TORS removal, advance timing, and be ready to buy a clutch if it's marginal.

Of coarse you also need all new seals, gaskets and a bigger main jet.

similar to what I run, you'll be very pleased with what Ken does to these little things
I run a 34mm keihin but the stock carb can be used with decent results too.

I planned on new bearings and possible clutch. I wish I could run 1 of the 3 Mikuni TMX carbs I have sitting around, maybe I will sell them.

what size miks ?
you can run them, but jetting experience is scarce for the larger mikunis

nah, too big for this build

38" as Awk says is way too big, the reduced air flow in such a big bore carb will make jetting a nightmare.
