Crf 150r

4stroke thumpers produce lower dbs than 2 strokes butttt 4 strokes produce a longer sound wave causing it to carry much more farther than any 2 stroke will since they have shorter sound peaked waves causing them to to loose energy and dissipate faster..so your not going to win either way unless you invest into Q pipes n stuff

thanks drifz, i got the 150f but i've ridden a 150r. the 150r is supposed to be the loudest stock bike out there but an fmf q muffler fixes that problem with ease and gives it a great tone.

Yea the guy is selling an expert and a little wheel. The 150r expert is a little cheaper but it doesn't look like it's in as good condition.
Here's pics of both of them. The one with black is the rb(expert) He said $1500 for the expert and $1700 for the little wheel.

yeah i'd go for the expert, it just looks to me like he bought the 150r and needed something bigger so it hasn't been touched as much. but if it was me and i had the cash then i'd definitely get the expert. it's in overall good shape only downside i see is that it may need a back tire.

I also heard that they had recalls a few years back for the swingarm and the camshaft. Is honda still fixing these for free?

i don't know about the swingarm or the camshaft but the 2008 models had a recall on the crank so you need to find out the year and find out if it has been fixed with proof of being fixed. and if it hasn't then before you buy you need to contact a honda dealership and find out if they are still fixing them.
