Crank Gear Nut

Ok so I went to remove the gear on the clutch side of the crank today to get the numbers for new ones but the gear was on so tight I couldnt get it off. I tried breaker bars but it just rolls the engine over. I even tried a impact racket and it still won't come off. Any suggestions?

put a penny inbetween the gears to lock it up

If that doesn't work get a tusk flywheel puller. Have someone hold the flywheel while you break loose the nut with a Breaker bar.

check out the DIY section and you can make a flywheel holder.
A penny works great as well, but the blaster has sloppy gearing and can sometimes push through so double it up. the soft metal will jam it up but prevent damage to the gears

Oh ok. I thought you meant stick it sideways in the teeth. I imagine that would bend it right up.

yeah, you just stick the penny in there and it'll jam it up, it'll bend up the penny a little bit, but not too bad

Yeah it's a penny. Oh well. Lol My luck I'll forget to take it out.
