couple noob question

alright i am in the process of rebuilding my carb. i had a few beers...well a few too many, i forgot where one of the fuel lines go. its the bottom line in the first picture here

and how in the sh*t do i get the throttle valve off to replace the needle? i cant seem to get the throttle cable apart from the valve.

it doesnt go anywhere its just an overflow tube

what he said and lol at the fact of too many beers, ive done that too. its good to have a beer or two when your doing stuff like this but once you hit the limit you start slipping up

haha i kept on putting one back..luckily didnt need a cooler it was 24 outside last night so i just set em outside the garage and realized that i drunk a 12 pack before i knew it..so cool an overflow..i couldnt find a place for that bastard anywhere. thanks for the help..anyone know about the throttle valve? i dont want to break anything. this is my first rebuild on any kind of motor. so bare with me everyone! thanks for the help once again

what do you mean by throttle valve? also, do you have a stock carb?

The throttle cable has two screws that hold it in place.

i saw the 2 screws. but how do i get the spring out of it? for your question is it a stock carb. i have no idea i know its a mikuni. im pretty sure its stock. the throttle valve is what goes into the lower part of the carb. its the cylinder shaped piece of metal with the spring in it, that has the needle in it. im pretty sure thats what its called. i just dont know how to get the needle out.

compress the spring while looking at the bottom this might help you figure it out good luck

let me correct this.the one circled on the top right is not the fuel line.the fuel line is on the left side of the carb under the air/fuel screw(the gold flat head screw).all of them brown tubes in the pic are overflows
