you beat me to it, just download manual and go for it. Just my opinion man but porting should be last after pipe, intake, reeds, then if still you feel you need porting upgrade your carb when you do your jug. You should take some time to figure out your motor before doing mods in which you will need to know how to work on it. I went through the same thing, it's the easiest engine there is basically. If you have ever worked on a vehicle it should be no prob. But back to what I said figure out your motor build up your intake/exhaust learn your carb/plugchecks etc. then move on to motor work. Start by downloading a manual.
