Mmm maybe its just the guady font colours, but im not sure what to make of this...got a very good point about ring pressure but it just seems rather mercyless on the motor!
Any thoughts?

that's how i've always broken in a modern 4 stroke......(v8's mostly)


let it idle for a few minutes, make sure its all sealed up and happy then proceed to beat the piss out of it...........

2 strokes are a different animal

He says for 2 strokes as well once you'd done the idle periods, heat cycles, and re-torqueing.

That is how I broke in my Prairie 400 when I rebuilt it. I let it idle for about 5 minutes to warm it up and then took it out and did power slides and full throttle runs around and around.
