yep, or if you pull it out there might be a sticker on it that says it, if it doesn't say what it is the sticker will have the specs and you can check google for it
 
what i always do is save all your sh*t on a flash drive and restore the computer if you have a disk it will be just like new after that or hell just buy another comp.

buying a new computer isnt a option.. gettin the wife a car since hers blew up, and payin bils is more important, my computer being a little slow on videos isnt grounds for a new one.


there was a sticker on the ram in it but i didnt really lok to see what it said
 
Well, Take that RAM out. On my it has a sticker or something on it that says how many pins it is. I would go with 2gb. Each slot could hold 1gb. I could do a 1gb x 2 . I could get you some nice ass RAM with heatsinks if your willnig to drop up to $100.
