well gonna def need a top end I can reach through exhaust port with my finger and move piston from side to side not good

120 psi compression says no rebuild needed, IMO

gotta be some play
only way to tell for sure is pull it and measure the piston to cylinder clearence.
method # 3 @ 7:25 will work for checking wear.

thanks jus me me 2 gonna try to get up early and leak test and get the 152.5 jet in so I can chop after work and if all is well run the crap out of the blasty.If I get off early run the cr480 hard too

thank you awk and blaster if not for the leaky my blasty would be dead soon intake gasket was leaking fixed and 7psi for 15 min

Those Intake gaskets are always a pain in the azz. Twice they have been the culprit for me. Did you Use some Copper RTV to help seal it up? That worked both times here.

The major problem with the intakes is that folks tighten them too much and they warp.

5.8 ft lb diagonally and incrementally, a little bit at a time is all that is needed on a good boot.

Once over tightened you will always need to use a sealant.
