cold weather rejetting

I just read on another thread about rejetting for the cold weather. How cold does it have to be before rejetting needs to be done and why? I've heard about rejetting for altitude due to less air but not for cold weather.

I have been told that cold air is thicker. If that is true I don't know.

cold air is dence so you nhave mroe air and need to add more fuel... normmaly need to re jet once its below 50... and go bigger the colder it gets....

So it's 20 degrees here and I started my blaster up and rode it around a little. Ran like something was holding it back or the brake was on. Is that the reason for running so bad?

yes it is... turn your air screw in a 1/4 to 1/2 turn and jump up 1-2 main jet

if your noticing it that much that its 'slower' or draggin jump up 2-3 mains

i ride year round, so i spend the first day or two of winter riding testing and tuning my jetting
