This is my first blaster and 2 stroke for that matter...

can someone tell me the engine will do if the clutch was slipping???

it will idle fine and take off ok but when i'm in like 3rd gear and I punch it the engine will rev up high, almost like the tires are spinning but there not.... but i dont feel a big acceleration.... so is my clutch slipping when I get on the gas????

OK... so what is the best way to fix this???? replace entire clutch and all plates??? or just friction plate????
also, do I have to pull the cylinder off to do this or just pull engine out and open crankcase?

its quite simple take off the kickstarter case side take out the 5 bolts on the pressure plate pull out the pressure plate and disk's than replace the same way they came out with new springs and disk's..

Are you talking about the clutch handle adjustment??? if so that's good... Is there something else you can adjust on the actual clutch itself???

also, the clutch operates nice and smooth starting off slowly ... the problem comes when I give it the gas fast the engine will rev up high but the my speed will only gradually increase..... I dont get the "hold on tight" feeling or the front end is coming off the ground feeling that I'm expecting...

I'm using Yamalube 4 10W40
