Clutch slipping? What would you do?

Can you rev it and get the front wheels off the ground? If not its probably time for new clutches. Maybe go through and check your free play and push rod adjustment also.

You can scuff the plates if they aren't completely trashed, but as cheap as clutches are you would enjoy the freshness of a new one. And regardless of what most will say, yamaha oem clutches are one of thee best unless you can afford a set from Hinson. I currently am running a Barnett which is produced under White Brothers which means its made in Tawain and Im not very impressed at the one year mark with only about 40 hrs ride time. Also too make sure you have a manual from clymer or yamaha because there are some tiny marks on the plates that need to be aligned correctly and the manual has excellent installation instructons.

yea sometimes i can get my front wheels up but when i am about to be at the end of a gear its like im over reving it i think im bout to get a new set of clutches to
