OK what is the deal? My clutch catches but the problem is is that when i give it gas it revs real high then will gradually go faster and faster? Its like its not catching all the way or something. But like an hour or two of riding and it kind of fixes itself and it wont do it very bad at all. What do i need to do?!

something simple but check your oil level and the adjustment of the clutch, you might need to open it up and adjust it internaly?

to check the oil there is a looking glass on the right side of the engine near where your heel would be, what does the oil say? if it is HP Trans that is what i use and have no problems which would eliminate oil, if it isn't hp trans let us know hwat you are using and we can troubleshoot that area. Is your clutch lever super tight? just some simple questions that go a long way in troubleshooting

Your clutch is slipping. Adjust the free play by loosening the thumbwheel up at the clutch lever. You should be able to pull the lever about a 1/4 inch without moving the lever on the trans at all.

If that doesn't help, you might need to do the internal adjustment, but if you go that far you might as well inspect the clutch plates. Instructions for both are in the manual. Check it out.

if your using the honda hp2 trans oil, get that junk out of there. i used to use it, and my old clutch went out. when i changed the clutch, before i filled up the transmission with fluid i checked the bottle and the hp2 has anti friction additives. i think that was my problem all along
