My blaster needs the clutch plates replaced, i see that they are fairly cheap to purchase but how easy is it to install and replace old ones?? Im not that mechanically sound so any pointers?

Thanks in advance:-/

plate clutch plate clutch, also the metal plates have little tabs on them your supposed to put one in at 12 oclock then the next at 3 then at 6 till your run out. read the instructions, your supposed to soak the new clutchin oil before installation. i beleive there is a vidio on youtube also.. good luck!

no there wont be. buy the clutch kit, then soak all the plates and fibers in new oil (same as you run in your tranny). then take the old one out. then put the new one in just like the old one came out. very simple.

buy a clymer service manual, shows you how to do everything, and if i remember right i think it even has pictures in it. put the plates in in the exact order i say.

1)friction disc
2)clutch plate
3)cushion spring (it's like a little wavy circular disc if i remember right)
4)friction disc (may be bigger than other friction discs)
5)clutch plate
6)friction disc
7)clutch plate
8)friction disc
9)clutch plate
10)friction disc
11)clutch plate
12)friction disc

then just put your pressure plate on, put in springs, and bolt them down. hope this helps!

yeah, i cant believe that tusk kits are as cheap as they are, whatever, it is what it is. I wont complain. yeah, I watched a video about how to install them. Made alot more sense.
