Clutch lever assy question

What is the wire running up to the clutch lever assembly for? It Looks like it ataches to the parking brake portion of the clutch lever assembly, I got a e-brake block off kit for my 04 blaster and was wanting to get rid of the parking brake on the handle bars and wasn't sure if I could disconnect that wire without messing something up

that is so when the parking break is on the bike wont rev....you will be ok to ditch it.....ir just tuck the wires under the hood
