Ok, long story short, I went ahead with replacing my crank seal due to it revving out at idle after it was warm and milky crankcase oil.
I broke the inner hub in the process so I bought a new one to replace it. This meant taking the clutch plates out. I got it all back together, adjusted the rod accordingly.
I have the quad up on jackstands. When in gear with the clutch pulled in the motor is still engaged. I can see the pressure plate moving out and the friction plates loosen at that time. What did I miss? thanks
