Yep thats my problem. There for awhile you could pull it out and very carefully let off it and it would catch but as soon as the motor would start it would pull back in unless you held it. Well I went to start it the other day and it would stay out at all, and not really sure where to start to fix the problem, I need to pull the carb off and clean it anyway so its actually pretty good timing for it to stop working.

mine does that too, but i only need to to start and i hold it for a few secs then it idles without it. try richening up on the idle screw a bit

ghetto fix......tie some fishing line to it and tie it off to the bars so that it will stay up........or just go get a new plunger, i dont happen to have one myself but theres lots of members on here that have old carbs laying around for parts . anybody got one to give this guy to help him out? if i had a spare you could have it

I think everyone has this problem. How much is a new one.. I fixed an old one with super glue... it was old and had cracks in it

had same problem with one of my kids blasters went to local shop to order one it was $49.95 OUCH!!!! so i will just keep holding it out!!!!
