Chipped reeds

Hello I was riding my blaster the other day and I thought I blew it up, I was tearing apart the intake to inspect the wreckage and found out it had a large chunk of the reeds missing and I'm gonna put new reeds can I run it or should I tear it down and look for the reed pieces?btw thanks

reeds are just plastic, and only a small portion went into the engine, and has probably already gone out the exhaust.

i would not worry about pulling the engine apart, but others may have different opinions

agreed, that piece of reed is probably already gone, replace and ride it.
