My bearings in my rear axle went bad and are in need of some changing and this is the first time i have done this on any fourwheeler, so my first question is, is this something i can do myself? and if i can how exactly does it come apart? cuz i know the whole bearing and axle housing comes off as one but where do i go from there?

If you do a search around the forum for rear axle bearings you'll find quite a few threads about this particular matter. I just did this a while back and everything went smooth for the most part. Also, this may help you out: Rear Axle bearing replacement

Umm i did mine myself a week ago, a soild bar to use for leverage, a flat head screw driver, pipe wrench and hammer is all i needed. Just be careful puttin the new ones in you dont want to hit it to hard.

any tricks to getting the nuts off by the sprocket? i used two pipe wreches and nothing worked i just cant muscle them off

umm, have someone hold one pipe whrence, and than take like a 12 foot pipe over the other one and you can use the pipe for leverage

get the biggest ajustable wrench you can put some kind of extender on it(like a pipe), have your friends pound on the brakes and then torque it off. that should work.

are the two nuts on the axle threaded opposite cus i tried heat, penetrating spray and a big ass wrench and it didnt budge

Big nuts are standard threads (both) righty tighty, lefty loosey. Stick a bar or something thru sprocket hub to hit carrier then loosen outer nut. before rusting it would have been tight to about 180 ft lbs. Use a cheater bar pipe on wrench.
