what are the difference of "o"ring and none "o"ring.
well i know the difference but why pay more for the "o"ring type?does the "o"rings do anything that the non oring type doesnt?

i think i saw dyno graphs where i think oring chains took away quite a bit of wheel hp away over a standard chain. so i think if your a hard core racer, a standard chain might be the way to go. if not, go with an o ring chain for longevity

it probably comes out a wash really. the o-ring chain will last longer but costs more. the standard one will need to be watched a little closer

you dont need the most expensive chain for your 17hp blaster. thats all there is too it. i dont think the dinky amt of power these things put out will really hurt a standard chain very quick, let alone an o ring or x ring chain

I use a product made by Amsoil called MP-HD. Its a tacky, metal-protecting spray that seems to do the job well and doesn't attract dirt and grit. 90W should work fine, but just remember that oil attracts dirt and that a regular oil will tend to sling off as the chain runs and may make a mess. Special chain lubes tend to 'hang on' better and create less mess while doing the same job.

i oil the change before i ride with the foamy sh*t. but after i wash it, i always put motor oil on it while it sits in the barn. or spray it with wd40. that way it helps get out water.

This is what I use. :D
