i have a 2001 blaster with a broken case. Its broken where the shifter goes into the left side case, the shifter is not bent and still works fine. Could i weld it? Or do I need to change the case.

It could be welded, but better off to get a new/used case off of ebay.
Ive got a left side case, if you need it. Ill sell it to ya cheap. Only thing is you would need to tack. weld the clutch pivot mechenism spring to the case. its not an internal thing.

Ive got 2 extra left sides, but the local shop is booked until late November. So i wanted a temporary fix until this winter when i can have him do it.
