Case oil question

I accidentally picked up castrol 10-40 4T 4 stroke oil for my case. Is it alright to run this stuff? I figured it would be alright because it is designed for wet clutches. Just has additives to prevent burn off and such for the 4 strokes.

I'm almost certain that Yamaha recommends 4 stroke crankcase oil in Blasters. But I think its supposed to be 10W-30

I'm running the it465 I am pretty sure my clymers says 10-40 for this engine. That's good to know that the blaster engine called for it. The blaster engine is basically a smaller version of the same engine.

Wooops, didn't even think about the IT465 LOL. I'm sure you will be good to go with the oil you put in. Double checking the manual doesn't hurt though I:I

i think that should be fine i run 10w 30 royal purple atv / motorcycle oil

I run ATF Type F in my 2 strokes.
