the IT465 charge coil only put out like 30watts stock. thats nowhere near what I want/need. so i bought some thicker gauge magnet-wire and went to work! tested this new setup on a 83 YZ490 with rectifier and got 90.4 watts

Ok, for my stick blaster i wanted to put some different lights on it but from what ive heard on here you cant go more than 20watt bulbs do you have any ideas on how i could do something like what you did

ricky stator sells a high output light coil for the blaster. they also sell a "Single-Phase Rectifier" which is the same part i used to convert to DC. what you need to do is get the light coil then remove the ground tag and extend that wire out of the stator as well. run both ends of the wires of the light coil to the two yellow rectifier inputs. then it will be converted to DC and come out the red wire. you can then hook a battery up with that

if you zoom in you'll see the light coil ground tag(the coil on the right, look on the upper screw). you need to cut that ground tag off and extend that wire out of the stator. that extended wire and the yellow/red wire originally on the stator both will connect to the two yellow wires on the rectifier. then you ground the black wire on the rectifier and run the red to your battery. then tie all the light power wires into the light switch then run the light switch power to the battery.
