What is the hole at the bottom center of the carb where the gasket doesnt cover it all the way up? I premix my gas 32:1 and I get some oil that occasionally drips from here. Just rebuilt the motor and I have an air leak between the intake boot and reed cage I cant get stopped so am going to order another gasket and new boot. Tried making my own gasket and also adding yamabond and thinking the intake boot is a little warped. Would this hole allow air in also? Was thinking it might be made to allow excess fuel to drip out and now that I premix I am noticing this because of the oil?
